The Terres de France group takes the privacy of your personal data very seriously. It is used solely for the purpose of processing your booking.

For SEMINARS or any special events (family reunions, weddings, film shoots, birthdays, etc.), these specific GROUP conditions apply and are communicated with the quote prior to booking.

Article 1 : BOOKING – QUOTE – PAYMENT TERMS

Upon your booking request, a quote will be sent to you with an expiry date, known as the option date. To confirm your booking, you must accept your quote by returning it to us signed by email or electronically via the link provided. Your booking will only be considered firm and final upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the quote (bank details will be provided).

The balance of the payment will be made on site, unless a specific agreement is made at the earliest upon signing the quote, particularly for companies or public services, and ideally 5 days before your arrival if you do not have the required means of payment at the time of your stay.

If we do not hear from you by the option date, we will consider that you are not proceeding with the quote. The quote may be modified up to 8 days before your arrival in accordance with the terms of Article 5.

Any additional services will be included in the quote and will be subject to an additional deposit.

Terres de France accepts payments in euros only, in cash, by credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Amex), holiday vouchers (ANCV) and e-ANCV. Cheques are not accepted.

No booking fees are charged.

Article 2 : RATES & TERMS OF OCCUPANCY

Our rates are in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT at the current rate), and include accommodation: provision of the accommodation and utilities (water, electricity, heating). Tourist tax and optional services (cleaning, linen hire, etc.) are not included.

Reservations are made in a person’s name and cannot be transferred or sublet under any circumstances. It is strictly forbidden to exceed the specified capacity for each accommodation. Any additional persons, including babies, may incur an extra charge and the allocation of additional accommodation.

Important: the group rate (valid for a minimum of 20 people or 5 accommodations) is applied to a single booking and requires a single, lump-sum payment. Any changes made during the booking process will result in the public rate in effect on our website being applied.

ARTICLE 3 – TOURIST TAX – DEPOSIT

The tourist tax will be adjusted on the day of your arrival (variable depending on the destination and subject to change by the local council). Depending on the circumstances, a deposit of €1,500 will be required, particularly in the case of room occupancy, plus a deposit of up to €250 per accommodation + a cleaning deposit of €65 per accommodation. It will be refunded after verification (particularly cleanliness).

Any theft or damage will be invoiced. The deposit will then only be refunded once the invoice has been paid.

Article 4 : CHANGES TO BOOKINGS

Any requests for changes must be sent to us by email and will be subject to our approval based on availability. Reductions in services are possible up to 8 days before your arrival; after that, the cancellation conditions apply. See Article 5.

Article 5 : CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Consequently, Terres de France cannot be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to your personal belongings, whether in the accommodation, car parks or communal areas. We recommend that you take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of your property.

Debts owed to Terres de France are not subject to the limitation period applicable to hotels.

In accordance with Article 2244 of the Civil Code, a registered letter sent by Terres de France to a customer in debt interrupts the applicable limitation period.

Article 7 : GENERAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER

Internal regulations are available for consultation at the reception desk of each residence.

However, it is advisable to read certain extracts:

Nuisances

Residence users are urged to avoid any noise or discussions that may disturb their neighbours. Sound devices must be adjusted accordingly. Noise pollution (music, shouting, barking, etc.) is prohibited during the day (7 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and at night (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.). After 10 p.m., everyone must make an effort not to disturb their neighbours. Minors are the responsibility of their parents or guardians.

Inventory, cleanliness and damage

Any complaints regarding the inventory, equipment or cleanliness of the flat must be made to the residence within 24 hours of arrival. After this period, the tenant will be deemed to have tacitly acknowledged the accuracy of the inventory, equipment and cleanliness of the flat. In the event of damage to the premises, the tenant will also be required to reimburse the cost of repairs, as assessed by the residence management. Furniture must be returned to its original place, the fridge and dishwasher must be empty, crockery must be clean and tidy, and bins must be emptied.

The Residence cannot be held liable for theft or damage to personal belongings in the apartments, common areas, car parks and any other outbuildings of the residence. It is the responsibility of each resident to take out personal civil liability insurance in advance.

Breaches of the internal regulations

In the event that a resident disturbs the stay of other users or fails to comply with the provisions of these internal regulations, the manager or his representative may, if he deems it necessary, give the resident verbal or written notice to cease the disturbance. In the event of a serious or repeated breach of the internal regulations, and after formal notice by the manager to comply, the manager may terminate the contract. In the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call on the police.

Miscellaneous provisions

All demonstrations, meetings, political, religious or other propaganda are prohibited. The installation of advertising hoardings, banners, commercial activities and other such activities are strictly prohibited.
