From Friday 28 November 2025 to Sunday 4 January inclusive, visit the famous village of Rochefort-en-Terre, voted ‘France’s favourite village’ in 2016 and ‘wonderful Christmas village’ in 2017.

Stay at the Domaine du Moulin Neuf to enjoy the illuminations that take place every evening after dark. Admire the markets, Christmas trees and nativity scenes lit up with lights. Discover the region’s artists and craftspeople exhibiting their creations, as well as shops selling local products.

Warm up with a crêpe or the famous kouign amann, accompanied by a glass of mulled wine or a cup of hot chocolate. Share moments with your partner, family or friends and stroll through the narrow streets, each one more beautiful than the last!

Given the very high number of visitors at this time of year, we strongly recommend that you visit during the week and plan to arrive very early in the afternoon on Saturdays, Sundays and during school holidays, otherwise you may not be able to see the illuminations.
