As a general rule, reception is open daily from 9am to 12pm and from 4pm to 6pm or 7pm on Saturdays and during July and August.
Reception may be closed one or two days a week for weekly rest days.

It is essential to notify us in advance of your expected arrival time. Arrival before the scheduled time cannot be guaranteed. Arrival outside reception opening hours is subject to a special key collection procedure. Failure to do so means access to the accommodation cannot be guaranteed.

Tourism
The town of Moncontour is renowned for its epic history down the ages. Built in the 9th century, it was first a strategic position for Charlemagne, who in 769, thanks to the Moncontour keep overlooking the valley, repulsed the Sarazin armies.
The same keep was also the site of the historic victory of King Charles IX’s Catholic troops in 1569 over the Protestant troops led by Admiral de Coligny.
The town of Moncontour is equidistant from the Parc du Puy du Fou and the Parc du Futuroscope, two must-visit parks during your stay! Crossed by the River Dive, the narrow streets are lined with old houses of typical stone and tile architecture. The town is also known as the town of 100 wash-houses, and a number of footpaths have been laid out to offer tourists picturesque scenery.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am. We offer an early check-in option (accommodation available from 1 pm) and a late check-out option (accommodation available until 1 pm). These options are available, subject to prior booking. They are not available in July and August.
